Glass Door Fitting Service
We have been installing plate glass doors / frameless glass doors and framed glass doors since 2010.
We offer a partitioning service alongside the glass door installation as those wishing to achieve a contemporary aesthetic appearance, normally associated with offices and restaurants tend to go for a frameless glass door with patch fittings within a framed or unframed glazed screen. This gives the workplace a kind of open plan feel to the floor area, but with the added acoustic privacy.
Our glass doors, glazed screens and glazed partitions can also have a blind integrated into double glazed units and if frameless plate glass is the preferred option, we can install externally mounted blinds or have the glass manufactured with privacy films and graphics.
The frameless glass thickness is tempered and 13mm thick, whereas the doubled glazed units can either be manufactured from 6.4mm laminated glass with a glazing bar between or manufactured from British Standard toughened glass.

The glass is very strong indeed and highly resistant to shock, it is very durable, UV protected and dependant upon which type of glass the client/architect decides upon, it is made to the relevant British Standard testing and requirements.
Patch & Frameless Glass Fittings

Patch fittings is the name given to the hardware that is fitted to plate glass doors, or as known within the trade, frameless glass.

The fittings are different to ironmongery fitted to other types of doors as there is no mortice application and the design and mounting of the door hardware is different to conventionally used architectural ironmongery.

The aesthetic appearance of patch fittings on a frameless glass door is to be admired.

We repair and install many designs of framed glass doors and partitions and framed glass doors and partitions, along with defective patch fittings.
